
No Man’s Land – Episode 3: Eye Deep In Hell
Take a look into the tactical and strategic situation created by the trench warfare system. The trench was home to many. As soldiers faced inescapable horrors in those trenches - the folly of “going over the top”, night raids, patrols, poor medical treatment, hand-to-hand combat, and the French mutiny - individuals would also have to hold off hundreds at one time. With impossible situations like these, the terrain came to be called "no man’s land”.
