I AM BATTLE COMIC follows a group of comedians on a mission to provide laughter for U.S troops stationed in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq. Gripping insights about the highs and lows facing the men and women in the military are balanced with wonderful laughs as the Comedians perform, along with heartfelt interviews with top professional comedians (including George Lopez, George Wallace, Dave Attell, and Wayne Federman). With the support of Battle Comic Founder Don Barnhart the film has been screened for the Department of Defense and the Air Force to a wonderful reception and is recently completed a tour of theatrical screenings in select markets. 100% of the funds generated were donated to charities that support our military personnel, veterans and their families, such as: National Military Family Association, Semper Fi Fund, Operation Gratitude and For Veterans Sake.
