Dangerous tensions are escalating with Iran as The Iranian Revolutionary Guard captured the British tanker Stena Impero and its 23 crew members. Tehran says the vessel had violated international maritime rules, but the UK says it was illegally seized in Omani waters and forced to sail to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas. The Islamic Republic also claims that it has arrested 17 Iranian nationals allegedly recruited by the CIA to spy on nuclear and military sites. The U.S. denies it.
