An American Western television series that aired from 1956 to 1958, and follows the adventures of frontiersman Jim Bowie in the 1830s-era Louisiana Territory. Scott Forbes starred as Jim Bowie, famous for his ever-present weapon the Bowie Knife, which he obtains in the first episode of The Birth of the Blade.
